The Ox Bow Sportsman’s Club is an organization with over 125 memberships (individual and family). The Club provides instruction and a place to safely enjoy all shooting and hunting activities. Training in all forms of firearm handling and shooting provides our community with requisite skills for recreation, hunting, competition, and self protection. The Club currently has Shotgun, Rifle, Pistol and Archery practice sections as well as approximately 314 acres of prime hunting property.

We are a member club of both the National Rifle Association and the Civilian Marksmanship Program and provide  instruction on the fundamentals of  marksmanship and firearms safety. The Club offers several Hunter Education classes each year and makes the rifle range available each year for hunters to sight-in their hunting rifles. Many local groups, with Club permission, use the Club grounds and other facilities for picnics and meetings.

The Ox Bow Sportsman’s Club was formed by a few local citizens in the summer of 1967 to protest the flooding of the Brillion marsh and surrounding farmlands. Founding fathers are Mark Gehl, Luke Gehl, Dan Vollmer, Gene Pethan, Gib Pethan, Bob Sweere and Jack Sweere.  The format of the Club continues to be a single organization with several "sections", each related to some area of interest. The chairs of the various sections form the Board of Directors. Early Club structure was comprised of Hunting & Fishing, Conservation, Target Shooting, Archery, Membership, Program, Publicity, and Legal committees.

We thank you for all of your support throughout the years!
